Choosing appropriate care is not an easy decision, as each situation is different and Live-in Care provides a fully trained Live-in Carer with flexible one-to-one full time care and companionship. Before a care package can be started, a meeting is arranged to discuss the needs of the client in detail. This comprehensive free assessment enables Alpha Nursing & Care Services to formulate a personalized care package which is agreed with the client and the family. The care planning is totally focused on the client's holistic requirements and the support required to achieve the quality of life that the client wishes to achieve.

The carer sleeps in their own room at the home and follows the care plan created specifically for their client. They can help with the many aspects of personal care such as toileting, bathing or overseeing medication or assisting with mobility to achieve independence; they do some housekeeping chores such as cooking, light cleaning, laundry and shopping. And often, of greatest importance, they spend quality time with their companion, chatting and keeping them company, reading to them or watching television or driving them to appointments. The client chooses.

The cost of an individual package of live in care is confirmed when the care assessment has been carried out but there are 3 levels of charges. Standard Care is for clients who require companionship and minimal levels of personal care. Intermediate Care is for clients requiring personal care who may have specific health needs and Complex Care is for clients with high dependency needs who may require specialist staff to stay with them.
